Shannon Morris is a civil litigator and administrative law practitioner at Ausley McMullen. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2019. She began her legal career as a federal judicial law clerk, an experience that provided a strong foundation in professionalism and ethics.
Shannon’s involvement in the local legal community reflects her dedication to mentorship, professional development, and active engagement. For the past two years, she has served as Mentorship Chair for the William H. Stafford American Inn of Court. In this role, she creates opportunities for young lawyers and law students to build relationships with judges and experienced attorneys. Shannon also currently serves as Chair of the Law School Outreach Committee for the Administrative Law Section of the Florida Bar, working to involve future members of the profession. Shannon’s passion for involvement also led her to serve on the Florida YLD Delegation at multiple ABA meetings.
In addition to that service, Shannon is active in pro bono and community efforts. She volunteers with Legal Services of North Florida on the Attorney Helpline. Shannon served as the naturalization ceremony coordinator for two years in partnership with the Tallahassee Bar for the ceremonies conducted in Tallahassee.
Shannon is a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Tallahassee Bar Association and Tallahassee Women Lawyers. Shannon also remains involved with her alma mater, Florida State University College of Law, by speaking on panels, attending events, and judging mock oral arguments.
